In Arabic, Jalla! Jalla! means "come on!", as in "don't give up, keep going!". Roro (Fares Fares) and Måns (Torkel Petersson) are two colleagues at the Parks Department, struggling to keep the lawns clean of droppings and litter.

The friendship is strong, but Roro is expected to marry Yasmin (Laleh Pourkarim). The problem is that Roro is deeply in love with Lisa (Tuva Novotny), and the feeling is mutual. If he doesn't marry Yasmin, her brother will send her back to Lebanon! How can Roro explain these cultural clashes to his beloved Lisa?
