Annika Bengtzon, a journalist for Kvällsposten, attends the Nobel Banquet to cover the event for her newspaper. She is invited to dance by the handsome Bernhard from Med Tec, who also asks if he can see her again for a coffee.
During the dance, she witnesses the Nobel Laureate in Medicine, Aaron Wiesel, and the Nobel Committee Chair, Caroline von Behring, being gunned down on the dance floor—right at Annika’s feet.
As a key witness, she is placed under a gag order by the police. Annika remains skeptical when a terrorist group claims responsibility for the attack; she is convinced that the gunfire was primarily aimed at Caroline von Behring.
Despite being reassigned to the newspaper’s entertainment desk due to the gag order, her investigative work continues to revolve around the Nobel Committee. As she closes in on the truth, her own life begins to hang in the balance.
Well-crafted, well-acted with an excellent cast and beautiful cinematography.
