A beautiful and exciting family film from Pixar.

We have watched the fantastic film "A Bug's Life," which tells the story of ants in an anthill. The ants are forced to hand over the food they have so painstakingly gathered to the terrible, evil grasshopper Hopper and his gang of ruthless plunderers.

But one day, the inventive little ant Flik decides he has had enough. He goes looking for help and recruits a group of unemployed circus performers! Now Flik must prove to Queen Atta and the entire colony what a hero he really is.

Supported by the Bavarian caterpillar Heimlich and the tough ladybug Francis, this is a 3D-animated film that is beautiful, exciting, and excellently crafted. A true family experience originally seen in large-screen format.

Editor's Note (2026): This film solidified Pixar's position as a leader in 3D animation following "Toy Story." Iva particularly appreciated the Swedish dubbing, which at the time was a significant part of the theatrical experience for the whole family.
